In Ayodhya, a man recovered ₹40,000 he had lost, thanks to the honesty of a staff member from the CMO office. Vijay Singh had dropped the money while shopping. Sushil Verma, an employee at the CMO office, found the money.

Ayodhya: A man who went out shopping from his home got back his lost money thanks to the honesty of a staff member from the CMO office. The entire amount was handed over to the victim through the Cantt police. It is reported that Vijay Singh, son of Ramsahay, a resident of Guptarghat in the Cantt police station area, was going to Fatehganj in the city Kotwali on Wednesday to buy some items from his home. On the way, while taking out his mobile phone from his pocket, the money he had kept for shopping fell from his pocket, and he did not realize it. Meanwhile, Sushil Verma, son of Ramnath Verma, an employee posted at the Chief Medical Officer’s office, who had gone to the Cantt police area on official work, found the money lying on the road in the Nirmalkund area.

When he picked up the money, he found that there were 74 notes of ₹500 and 15 notes of ₹200. He took the total amount of ₹40,000 to the police station and handed it over to Chief Inspector Surendra Verma. Meanwhile, despite searching, no clues were found, and the victim came to the police station and reported his problem. The police then verified the number of notes and investigated the incident. After this, the victim was returned his ₹40,000. City CO Shailendra Singh stated that the unclaimed money was returned to its rightful owner.
